Final: Sparta 5 Wyoming Rogers 4 Summary: Sparta came out quickly by scoring two quick goals both by Senior Adolpho Orozco The host Golden Hawks went ahead by scoring 4 unanswered goals before the half. The Spartans battled back with another goal from Senior Adolpho Orozco and Junior Caleb Claybaugh, and then with :34 seconds left Adolpho Orozco hit the game winner giving him 4 goals for the contest.

Final: Sparta 0 FH Eastern 8 Summary: Sparta gave a valiant effort to a much more skilled Eastern team.
Thursday 9-13-07
Final: Sparta 3 Cedar Springs 5 Summary: Sparta came out quickly an established a tempo right from the whistle. Sparta scored two quick goals early both by Senior Trevor Bronkema. The visiting Red Hawks fought back with a goal off a PK later in the first half. Very physical game with 7 cards being shown. Cedar controlled momentum most of the second half with 3 goals and Sparta couldn’t find the net with many quality opportunities.

Final: Sparta 4 Comstock Park 0 Summary: Sparta came out quickly and controlled the momentum. In the 20th minute Sparta struck first on a scoring shot by Senior Trevor Bronkema The Spartans continued to control the game by out shooting the host Panthers 20 to 4. Goals were also made by Seniors Dennis Rader and Adolpho Orozco (2).
Wednesday 9-5-07
Final: Sparta 0 Covenant Christian 3 Summary: Sparta came into the game looking to even the score from a 1-0 loss last year. The Crusaders started off quick with a goal early and it remained 1-0 until just before half when Covenant snuck a rebound past the Spartan keeper just before the break. The game remained 2-0 with Sparta getting some quality chances to cut the deficit but where unable to find the net. Minutes before the end of regulation, the host Crusaders added a third goal while Spartans pushed offensively.

Final: Sparta 0 Wyoming Park 4 Summary: Sparta came out sluggish and the momentum never changed for the visiting Spartans. The Spartans never gave up and even out shot the host Vikings but couldn’t find the net.

FINAL SCORE: SPARTA 7 - COOPERSVILLE 0 Sparta dominated play against a very young and inexperienced Bronco squad. Spartans managed to have six different players score including first goals by senior Dennis Radar and junior Adrian Arroyo. Much of the second half was played by Spartans who normally don’t see significant playing time and they did a fantastic job in reserve. The Spartans out shot the Broncos 22 to 12 in the contest. Spartans can expect a more experienced Broncos team when they host on September 25 in Coopersville.

FINAL SCORE: SPARTA 3 - WYOMING ROGERS 2 (OT) Sparta started the contest very sluggish with Rogers winning the time of possession early. Rogers put in the first goal of the contest with a shot from a crossed ball that eluded our defenders. In the second half Sparta took advantage of the possession and scored early when senior Nick Nequist squirted a rebound past the Rogers keeper. Sparta then added a go ahead goal when senior Ben Laur ripped a free kick through the wall and past the out stretched arms of the Rogers keeper. Rogers answered back tying the score on a free kick of there own with less then 8 minutes remaining in the contest. Thirty seconds in the overtime period, senior Adolpho Orozco scored after receiving a pas from junior Caleb Claybaugh
